About Us

We’re Not Just Another Agency, We’re Your Growth Partner

We started in 2017 with one idea: a marketing agency should be judged on the sales it brings in, not the reports it sends out. Today we run search, ads and content for brands with one shop and for franchises with hundreds.

Our Vision

A world where any business owner can see exactly what their marketing brings in. No jargon, no guesswork, no reports written to hide a bad month. Marketing should be as easy to judge as any other line on the books.

Our Mission

To grow small and multi-location businesses with search, ads and content that bring in real calls and real jobs. We keep the price fixed and the reporting plain. Every account stays in your name, so you stay in control.

FAQ's About Our SEO Services in California

Success Metrics We Focus On

Most of our California SEO clients see rankings move within 60 to 90 days, and see a real change in calls and enquiries somewhere around month four to six. That gap between the two matters, and it is worth explaining, because it is where most people lose patience with SEO.

Rankings move first. Once we fix the technical problems on a site and publish pages that match what people are actually searching for, Google re-crawls, re-indexes and starts placing those pages higher. That part is measurable early. What takes longer is climbing far enough up the results that real numbers of people see you, click through and pick up the phone. Position eight gets a fraction of the clicks position three does. Getting from eight to three is where the months go.

How long that takes depends on where you are and what you sell. A plumber in a mid-sized city like Bakersfield or Modesto can compete quickly, because there are only so many other plumbers with a well-built site. A law firm in Los Angeles, a dentist in San Diego or anything in the Bay Area is a different job. Those markets have businesses that have been investing in search for a decade, and catching up with them takes longer.

The condition of your current site also decides a lot. If you have an established domain with years of history, we are tuning something that already works. If the site is new, or was built without any thought for search, we are starting from nothing and it will be slower.

No honest SEO company will promise you page one in 30 days, and we will not either. Nobody can honestly promise that, and any agency that does is either counting on you not checking, or planning to rank you for search terms nobody types. We have picked up plenty of clients who learned that the expensive way.

What you can expect from us is a clear picture at each stage. In the first month you get the audit and the plan. From month two you see the work going live. From month three you start seeing ranking movement in your report, and from around month four the numbers that actually matter to you — calls, forms, booked jobs — start to shift.

If after six months the numbers have not moved and we cannot show you why, that is a conversation we will start ourselves rather than wait for you to raise it.

Fair question, and one worth asking any SEO agency you talk to. "SEO" covers a lot of work, and it is easy for a monthly retainer to turn into a vague set of activities nobody can point at.

Here is how a typical month of SEO services runs with us.

Technical work. We keep the site healthy. That means checking that Google can crawl and index your pages, fixing broken links and redirects, keeping page speed up, and making sure the site works properly on phones, where most of your visitors are. Technical problems are silent — the site looks fine to you while pages quietly fall out of the index — so this gets checked every month rather than once at the start.

Pages and content. We write and publish new pages, and rewrite old ones that have stopped performing. That could be service pages, city pages, guides or blog posts, depending on what the plan calls for. Everything is written for a search term someone is actually typing, and written by people who understand your trade well enough not to embarrass you.

Local work. Your Google Business Profile gets managed like a landing page — categories, photos, posts, questions and answers, and hours kept current. We also keep your business details consistent across the directories that feed local search, and help you keep a steady flow of reviews coming in.

Links and mentions. We work to get other credible sites referring to yours. Real placements on real sites — local press, trade publications, suppliers, associations. No link farms, no buying packages of a thousand links, because that is a good way to get a site penalised.

Tracking and reporting. We make sure calls, forms and bookings are being tracked properly, so at the end of the month we can tell you what the work produced rather than just what it did.

At the start of each month you get a short plan: here is what we are doing and why. At the end of the month you get a report: here is what we did, here is what happened. If priorities change — a new location opening, a competitor moving in, a seasonal push — we change the plan and tell you why.

You will never have to ask what you paid for. It is written down, before and after.

Local SEO and regular SEO services answer two different questions. Regular SEO is about getting your website to rank in the standard blue-link results. Local SEO is about getting your business to show up in the map pack — those three listings with the map that appear at the top when someone searches for a service near them — and in "near me" style searches generally.

They need different work. Regular SEO comes down to your site: its structure, its speed, its content, and the other sites linking to it. Local SEO depends much more on your Google Business Profile, your reviews, how consistently your name, address and phone number appear across the web, and how close you are to the person searching.

For most California businesses the answer is that you need both types of SEO service, and the map pack usually matters more.

The reason is how people search here. Someone looking for an urgent care clinic in San Jose, a roofer in Sacramento or a restaurant in Long Beach is searching on a phone with location on. Google shows them the map pack first. On a phone screen, those three listings and the ads above them can fill the entire visible area. A business ranking first in the blue links below might still be getting fewer calls than the third listing in that map block.

California adds a few particular challenges. The markets are dense, so in a city like Los Angeles you are not competing with the whole city — you are competing street by street, because the map results change depending on which neighbourhood the searcher is standing in. That is why we track your rankings across a grid of points around each location rather than a single city-wide number. A business can rank first at its own address and be invisible four miles away, and the single number would never show it.

There is also a practical compliance point. California's privacy rules affect how you track visitors, so the tracking we set up has to be configured properly rather than dropped in and forgotten.

If you serve customers at a physical location, or you travel to them within a defined area, local SEO is not optional. If you sell statewide or nationally online, regular SEO carries more weight. Most of our clients need a mix, weighted towards local, and the audit tells us where the balance sits for you.

Yes. Multi-location SEO is the bulk of what we do — we currently look after more than 22,000 locations — and it is a genuinely different job from marketing a single business.

The first problem with multiple locations is that your own pages start competing with each other. If you have thirty branches and every page says roughly the same thing with the city name swapped out, Google struggles to work out which one to show, and often shows none of them well. It may also treat the pages as thin, near-duplicate content and quietly stop ranking most of them.

So we build location pages that are genuinely different from one another: the actual team at that branch, the services that location offers, its own reviews, its own hours, directions from local landmarks, and content about that specific market. It is more work than a template with a variable in it, but it is the difference between thirty pages that rank and thirty pages that sit there.

The second problem is the profiles. Every location needs its own Google Business Profile, correctly categorised, verified, and kept current. At scale this becomes an operations job as much as a marketing one — hours changing over holidays, a manager leaving, a location moving, someone submitting an edit to your listing that you did not approve. We manage that centrally so it does not land on your franchisees.

The third problem is reporting. A regional owner wants to know how their locations are doing. A franchisee wants to know what their fee is buying them. A head office wants the whole picture. So our reporting splits by location, region and brand, and each franchisee gets a short page showing their own numbers. That single change tends to end most of the arguments about the ad fund, because people stop guessing and start seeing.

The fourth is rollout. Getting a large network onboarded is usually the part clients dread, having been through it before. Our record is 340 locations live in eleven days. It goes faster than expected because we have done it repeatedly and built the process around messy real-world data rather than assuming clean spreadsheets.

Whether you have three locations or three hundred, our approach to multi-location SEO is the same: each location earns its own rankings in its own market, and you can see exactly which ones are pulling their weight.
